History of Organization of Ministry	The Comfort Blanket was established in November 2006 through the help of our then pastoral minister, Pat Policastro. This ministry is a parish project. We depend upon everyone young and old to help decorate squares that go into each blanket. As each square is decorated and sewn together, we are also praying for the person who would recieve one.
Function of the Group	To reach out to our parishioners who are shut-ins and to help them feel connected to their place of worship. We reach out to the very ill for them to feel the extension of the healing of our Lord. We reach out to parishioners who are representing the country through our military. We welcome the babies being baptized in our church through baby blankets. We also congratulate the RCIA candidates who have become new members of our parish.

Comments and Other needs for Organizations	We are always in need of new members who are interested in sewing, decorating, and cutting fabrics. Donations of cotton fabric and corduroy are always greatly appreciated. Anyone is welcome to on of our workshops.
