Ushers

Ushers have a special role to play at every parish liturgy.  They are the first person that those entering the chruch encounter.  Ushers help to maintain a prayerful atmosphere.  They are inolved in some of the most important elements of Liturgy, some of which include:  escorting people to their seats, inviting families to present the gifts, taking up the collection, helping with the Communion procession, distributing bulletins and making sure the Church looks neat after everyone leaves.
